The Group's clinical trials register, also known as the Specialised Register, includes all RCTs and CCTs that describe an active intervention (including prevention, treatment and rehabilitation) aimed at treating drugs or alcohol dependence. A subset of the register may be searched through the Cochrane Library entering "SR-ADDICTN" in the advanced search field.

The CDAG Trials Register is populated by the results of ongoing electronic database searches, handsearching and by the results of specific searches and reference checks of included studies for individual reviews.

The database is maintained in the Cochrane Register of Studies (CRS), which is both a data repository and a data management tool.
